On the high setting, the jacket can reach up to 122°F / 50°C. (Hanging heating wire test at a room temperature of 25°C/77°F)

What is the difference between Type R Class 2 standard and Class 3 standard?

Class 2 Type R: Provides good visibility for workers near traffic moving up to 50 mph. Suitable for environments with moderate traffic.
Class 3 Type R: Offers the highest visibility for workers in high-speed traffic areas, moving over 50 mph. Best for high-risk environments where maximum visibility is crucial.
